WALKING BREAKS in KENT

There is so much to see and do around Kent. From ancient castles and stately homes to it’s 200km of golden sand and white cliffs, Kent is packed full of must see landmarks just waiting to be explored.

Below we have listed just a few of our favourite local walks but to discover more of what this incredible county has to offer visit the Explore Kent website.

Hadlow River Walk

Take stroll down to a quite part of the River Medway on this relatively flat route. In the summer months these can be particularly good places to see dragonfies and damselfies.

Allow 2 hours – 7.3km

East Peckham River Walk

A pleasant walk that takes you along the river and around teh back of the local Hop Farm. Home to the largest group of Victorian Oast Houses in the world.

Allow 1 hour 30 mins – 4.7km

East Farleigh River Walk

Grazed grassland, kissing gates and small footbridges will lead you up a fairly steep hill where you will be rewarded with excellent views of the Medway Valley.

Allow 1 hour 45 mins – 5.8km
